Moving Forward

Today was my last day at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC). I’ve spent the last six years here at CCHMC as a computational biologist/bioinformatician in pre-clinical/translational academic medicine and it’s been fantastic, in no small part because of the people I’ve been privileged to work with.
New opportunities await me in Indianapolis — I’ve accepted a position as a computational biologist for Covance’s new Biomarker Center of Excellence and I’m excited at what lies ahead.
Covance has seen a large increase in demand for protein biomarkers and I think I have some valuable experience to bring to the position given the work I’ve done at CCHMC identifying genomic-based biomarkers and therapeutic targets.
A wish to all my friends, neighbors and colleagues as I leave Cincinnati:
Be well, do good work, and keep in touch.
